Excellent communication skills are essential. The benefits of effective communication are too numerous to list, for they enhance all aspects of life from personal to professional. The ability to communicate effectively with superiors, co-workers, employees and customers is vital no matter what organization you work in.

In this course, you will:

• Examine and assess the modes of communication we use and how to apply the best approach in given situations
• Emotional Intelligence (EI) - how it impacts our ability to communicate and learning to be more self-aware
• How we absorb and share information - how perceptions may affect the way we come across
• How to recognize defensiveness when it happens and practice more non-defensive communication to improve relationships.
