The Associate Director of Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention & Prevention (SAVIP) will deliver this training which will cover the definition and neurobiology of trauma, trauma symptoms and common reactions to trauma, on and off-campus resources for trauma survivors, and how to compassionately respond to trauma survivors.
While “Listen, Support, Report” also includes a section on responding to survivors, this training gives participants an in-depth look at how trauma effects one physically, mentally, and spiritually.
