Calling all instructors! Would you like a practice run with Blackboard Collaborate Ultra before the Fall semester begins? Join a small group of other instructors and Blackboard admins and get hands-on experience with sharing your screen, displaying content, using the whiteboard, managing breakout group sessions, and more. These sessions are designed for instructors who have already attended a Blackboard Collaborate Ultra training webinar and want a little extra practice.

** Registration Procedures Update **

In order for attendees to personally track their current registrations and attendance at certificate of completion workshops and events, the Center for Teaching Excellence is now requiring that all registrants create an account in our registration system and login to register for all workshops.

 

If you have an existing training account with the Division of Human Resources, Office of Organizational and Professional Development, you do not need to create an account. You can login using your HR training username and password. By logging in to register for CTE events, your complete training record for both CTE and HR trainings will be available with a single account and login.

Susan Quinn is the Assistant Director of eLearning Services in the department of Division of Information Technology (DoIT). Prior to joining DoIT, she was director of instructional support in the College of Education. Quinn has an M.Ed. in special education technology, and was a special education teacher and research associate before coming to UofSC.

Elvin Boone started working in the Thomas Cooper Library as a student attending UofSC and, really, never left. He studied English Literature. The UofSC Blackboard team scooped him up in 2019, and he's been managing projects, giving workshops and generally trying to stay out of trouble ever since.
