TA Workshop: Enhance Your Classroom Leadership through Active Listening

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

12:00 PM - 12:50 PM

Center for Teaching Excellence
Thomas Cooper Library, Room L511

Excellent speaking and writing skills are important aspects of successful teaching. However, a growing body of research suggests that effective listening plays an equally important role in leading a classroom. Join Bethany Tisdale and communication experts from the Center for Business Communication for an informal, practical discussion of specific active listening strategies that can help instructors serve as more effective leaders—both inside and outside the classroom.

Lunch provided.
