The Recovery Ally Training teaches members of the Gamecock Community about substance use disorder and recovery. This training explains substance use disorder and recovery, how to identify and respond to stigmatizing language/beliefs, and how to create a campus culture that embraces recovery.
The goal of the training is to create a network of allies who promote a recovery-minded culture that is accepting, engaging, and supportive to all students in recovery from addictions to alcohol or other drugs as they pursue an enriched college experience.

There is no charge to participate in this course. Employees should cancel their registration if they are unable to participate. If there is an emergency, please notify the instructor.
All confirmed participants will receive the link to the live webinar session and handouts one day prior to the course date.
