Effective communication is critical to getting work done effectively and building better relationships between team members in an office and with colleagues in other offices and departments. Morale and productivity increase when communication is positive and professional. This program reviews important skills and provides practical tips for administrative professionals to use to confidently and competently communicate in the workplace.

Back by popular demand, Iwana will provide participants insightful information on communicating in the workplace. Dr. Ridgill is a University of South Carolina Honors Graduate and faculty member at Midlands Technical College. She has presented at many state and national conferences and professional meetings, and especially enjoys topics related to motivation on the job and employee and leadership development
Dr. Matteel Jones
A life conqueror, Dr. Matteel has an intense desire to support others through positive change and authentic transformation. This passion is fueled by her own personal life renovations – surfacing and thriving on the other side of divorce, morbid obesity, first-generation education, and a lack of purpose, she now fully embraces a lifestyle that is grounded in choices that are mentally, physically and spiritually healthy and devotes much of her free time to personally coaching others through their own life makeovers.
This half-day conference is designed for UofSC's administrative professionals.
Registration is $70 per person, includes instruction, continental breakfast, and lunch.
The departments of those who cancel within 48 hours of the conference will still be charged.
