Universities create huge amounts of knowledge and scholarship, but significant global disparities exist between those who can afford access to scholarly knowledge and those who can't. The Open Access movement seeks to rectify these disparities by making scholarly knowledge freely accessible and usable. Come to this session to learn how why students and scholars have a right to access scholarly research and how to make your own work open access.
