Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish Spirit Series 2020-2021
Our Spirit Series program prepares students in 6th-12th grade to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation, First Communion, and Baptism (if needed). Students are invited to grow in knowledge and love of the Catholic Faith through weekly lessons tailored to their age group, retreat experiences, and meaningful assignments.
Our at-home model focuses on empowering parents to accompany and journey with their youth as they complete our online curriculum.
Our in-person class will be held Tuesday evenings. Due to social distancing constraints, a limited number of spots are available. Please indicate your preference when registering. Spots will be assigned based on student need with preference given to those preparing for Baptism or who otherwise cannot complete preparation at home.

- Our program runs September 7, 2020 - May 4, 2021
- Students are required to complete all sessions (in-person or online)
- Students will be required to attend two day-long retreats November 21 and March 13 or make alternate arrangements ahead of time

Parents are required to attend all parent sessions or make alternate arrangements ahead of time
- The first parent session for families in the at-home program with be September 7

Parents will be required to participate in formation opportunities

Sponsors will be asked to attend all sponsor sessions (currently scheduled for December 8 and February 26)
Please make special note of the following deadlines
- September 7: Baptismal certificate due if child was not baptized at IHM
- November 17: Sponsor forms due
- February 23: Saint poster presentation due
Dates for the Confirmation Mass will be announced at a later point.
Registration is $75 for the year
**A $10 late fee will be assessed to each participant who is registered after Sept 1st due to increased administrative needs
