About this Event

This course is designed to educate parents on how to create a healthy lifestyle for their children who are in elementary school. Expert speakers from Texas Children's Hospital will speak on:

  • Understanding why children can become overweight or obese
  • What to do if your child is overweight or obese
  • Helping your family learn how to eat healthy
  • How life challenges and situations impact eating and what to do about it
  • Exercise for kids at different ages

 

This fast paced course will include a series of short presentations. There will be time for questions and answers.

Parents or guardians of kids ages 5-10 years old
