Course Title

Newest Techniques for Implants & Dentures: Protocol-Driven Procedures for Impant-Retained Dentures

Saturday, August 19, 2017

Course Description

This course will cover enhanced impression procedures for making the immediate denture, full denture, and implant-retained overdenture for your partially edentulous patient. These innovations will take you to the next level for those patients who need any type of removable and/or implant prosthodontic restoration. You will learn to implement a digital aided assessment and examination protocol. You will be able to make an accurate edentulous impression and/or fixture level implant impression. Use dental rulers to make measurements for both edentulous and dentate patients to ascertain space for stud, bar or fixed denture restoration.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:

  • Apply the new method in impressioning for most prosthodontic restorations

  • Demonstrate how to cast a model in four minutes

  • Identify how to implement a digital aided assessment and examination protocol

  • Describe how to make an accurate edentulous and/or fixture level implant impression

  • Explain how to make measurements to ascertain space for stud, bar or fixed denture restoration
