CANCELLED: Space Management and Interceptive Orthodontic Treatment

Friday, May 14, 2021

Synopsis

This course is designed to assist doctors in recognizing and managing limited spacing in the transitional dentition. Participants will methodically predict the limitations within the arch using a mixed dentition analysis. We will discuss space management during the early development of children, cases of posterior crossbite, arch expansion, and treatment methods for conditions such as anterior and posterior cross-bites. During the hands-on session, we will review the fabrication of an expansion appliance for the maxilla used in correcting arch dimension (crossbites). We will also address treatments, scheduling, appliance adjustments, and retention.
