Course Synopsis:
This module presents radiologic interest lesions present to practitioners that require identification of these common lesions of interest, necessitates creation of a differential diagnoses and develop a management plan. The presentation is compiled of case studies and provides information in X-rays and is shown step by step including diagnosis, treatment planning, and final outcome.


Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course (module), you will be able to:

  • Identify common lesions of radiologic interest
  • Create differential diagnoses for select radiographic lesions

  • Develop an appropriate management plan for select radiographic lesions

About the Presenter(s)

 

Shawn S. Adibi, DDS, MEd, is an associate professor at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in the Department of General Practice & Dental Public Health, where he teaches assessment, treatment planning and diagnostic sciences to dental students. He practices as a general dentist at UT Dentists, the School of Dentistry’s faculty practice, where he treats patients with orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders. He is an academic fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and has completed the Health Educators Fellowship Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

  2. Clink the link in your email to be directed to the online module.
  3. View the video.
  4. Complete the accompanying post-test questions for video with a passing grade of 80% or greater.
  5. Upon completion of the video and successful post-test, the system will notify the PACE Center of your successful completion of the online modules. The PACE Center will generate an online survey for you to evaluate the module**. The survey must be completed in order to receive the appropriate CDE credits.
