In an effort to create a school/organizational culture where stakeholders feel free to lead with tenderness, care, and compassion for themselves and their community, participants will be guided through a series of reflective protocols, healing-centered engagement practices and activities based on CASEL’s SEL competencies that will assist in realigning and rejuvenating their purpose.

 

This is the second offering in a three-part series (first session 2/2/2020, third session 4/15/2020). Participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions, though this is not mandatory.

If a participant does not attend a training for which they have registered, or does not to notify the Family League of their inability to attend within 48 hours of the scheduled training, the organization will be invoiced a “missed session” fee of $50.00. Organizations will only be charged in the event of a “missed session” by an employee. If an agency fails to pay the missed session fee, their staff will no longer be able to access training offered by Family League of Baltimore. The 48 hour requirement does exclude extenuating circumstances such as a death in the family, serious medical emergency, programmatic emergency that would require the attendance of the registered individual, etc.

Our goal is to continue to maximize the professional development opportunities for our funded partners, while reducing the large number of no show attendees we have experienced over the last year.
