Join Family League of Baltimore for the broadcast of the Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers’ Fiscal Sponsorship and Agency Webinar at our offices. This event is FREE for our funded partners and community members. The workshop provides a great opportunity for new non-profits to learn how fiscal sponsorship can help access funding and build capacity while networking with other community organizations.
Fiscal Sponsorship and Agency Webinar: Conversations around supporting youth leadership, emerging social innovators and most recently the needs of Baltimore Children and Youth Fund grantees have all highlighted fiscal sponsorship as a vehicle to enable new investment relationships for funders and support the success and growth of emerging ideas and innovators. Join Celeste Amato, the President of Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers, for a presentation providing an overview of the current fiscal sponsor landscape in Maryland, the purpose and difference between fiscal agency and fiscal sponsorship, and national standards and best practices. Ample time will be allotted for questions and discussion.
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, within 48 hours of the scheduled training, please make sure to inform us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please review our Professional Development Policy below:
If a participant does not attend a training for which they have registered, or does not to notify the Family League of their inability to attend within 48 hours of the scheduled training, the organization will be invoiced a “missed session” fee of $50.00. Organizations will only be charged in the event of a “missed session” by an employee. If an agency fails to pay the missed session fee, their staff will no longer be able to access training offered by Family League of Baltimore. The 48 hour requirement does exclude extenuating circumstances such as a death in the family, serious medical emergency, programmatic emergency that would require the attendance of the registered individual, etc.
Our goal is to continue to maximize the professional development opportunities for our funded partners, while reducing the large number of no show attendees we have experienced over the last year. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy and hope that your staff continues to benefit from the opportunities that will be offered during the coming year. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact email@example.com.
