Events are a great way to build community. They can be fun, informative, motivational, collaborative, and so much more. Being clear on your goals for the event is imperative for a worthwhile and meaningful event. Cost adds up quickly when planning. Oftentimes our budgets are limited, sometimes very limited. This session will build on the Event Planning workshop from June 2021. Participants will share about events they are hosting and work through the planning steps. Like Event Planning 101, participants will walk away with free and inexpensive resources to make their events a sparkling success! Attendance at the first event planning workshop is not required to attend this session.
*If this workshop is hosted through Zoom, the link will be emailed 24 hours before the workshop.
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, please inform us within 48 hours of the scheduled training by contacting: Family League Help Desk; firstname.lastname@example.org
Please review our Professional Development Policy below:
If a participant does not attend a training for which they have registered, or does not to notify the Family League of their inability to attend within 48 hours of the scheduled training, the organization will be invoiced a “missed session” fee of $50.00. Organizations will only be charged in the event of a “missed session” by an employee. If an agency fails to pay the missed session fee, their staff will no longer be able to access training offered by Family League of Baltimore. The 48 hour requirement does exclude extenuating circumstances such as a death in the family, serious medical emergency, programmatic emergency that would require the attendance of the registered individual, etc.
Our goal is to continue to maximize the professional development opportunities for our funded partners, while reducing the large number of no show attendees we have experienced over the last year. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy and hope that your staff continues to benefit from the opportunities that will be offered during the coming year.
