Restoring Implants! What do I need to know?
Dr. Harshit Aggarwal received his BDS degree from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai. He graduated from New Jersey Dental School with a Master of Science in Dentistry, Certificate in Prosthodontics and Preceptorship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. Currently he is full-time faculty at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Aggarwal has been invited as keynote speaker in numerous conferences in India and has lectured extensively in the United States.
The course is designed for the novice and experienced implant restorative dentist. The course goes through the basics of implant restorations. The course covers making impressions, communicating with the lab, delivering restorations and managing prosthetic implant complications. The dentist will take home the implant models that they restored as demonstration models for patients. The restorations will include a screw retained all gold UCLA crown and a custom abutment cement retained PFM restoration. All Dentists will receive a free Gold Polishing Kit.
At the conclusion of this course the participant should be able to:
• Decide what kind of impression is indicated for an Implant.
• Make a pick up or a transfer impression.
• Learn the lab work involved in the procedure.
• Deliver a screw retained and a cement retained restoration.
• Diagnose and manage prosthetic implant complications.
