This important book helps us develop instructional techniques that will make the math classes we teach so much better than the math classes we took. There are five (5) quizzes. To pass the course, each quiz must be passed with an 80% score. This is not an overall average of all test scores, but rather on each chapter quiz. Be sure to thoroughly study the chapters in order to be prepared for taking the quizzes. Upon completion of the fifth quiz, you have finished the course. There are no assignments or papers. Included in each module are discussion questions and activities to try. These are intended to support you as you read the book and implement its precepts. They are not required to pass this course.
100% online course, register at anytime during the year. You will have 1 calendar year to complete the course from the day you register. If you register before 8/31/2020, it will be transcribed as a Spring 2020 course. If you wait until after this date, it will be transcribed as a Fall 2020 course.
All materials and 1 PD credit are included in the price.
Once registered and paid, you will receive an email with instructions on how to begin the course. This email may end up in your spam folder, so please check there if you do not receive it within one hour.
This online course is open to any teacher (math major or not) seeking PD credit.
