Algebra for All Summer 2017 Professional Learning Registration
July 17th-August 3rd (Monday-Thursday)

Welcome to Algebra for All!
We are looking forward to working with you this summer and are excited about the professional learning opportunities that are scheduled for you.
This summer, teachers will take two core (8A will take 3 core) and two elective courses. Core courses are attended by all teachers on any given grade. You will be automatically registered for the appropriate core course.
You can use the registration link below to indicate your preferences for elective sessions. We will accommodate teacher preferences for electives on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to complete this registration as soon as possible.
5th Grade Core Courses:
Problem Solving and Formative Assessment Grade 5
Routines for Building an Algebraic Learning Culture for Struggling Learners Grade 5
7th Grade Core Courses:
Building Algebra Readiness & Algebraic Thinking Grade 7
Teaching for Understanding: Ratio and Proportional Reasoning Grade 7
8th Grade Algebra Core Courses:
From Visual Patterns to Algebraic Expression Grade 8A
Developing the Habits of Algebraic Thinking & Problem Solving Grade 8A
Problem Solving Grade 8A
Sessions run from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day, with breakfast offered each morning starting at 8:30. There will be a one hour lunch break each day (lunch will not be provided).
In order to ensure a complete and coherent experience, we expect you to attend all 12 days of the series. If you are no longer able to attend this summer, please notify your principal and reach out to us at AlgebraforAll@schools.nyc.gov as soon as possible.
All Algebra for All summer sessions will take place at:
Stuyvesant High School
To process your per session time-sheet we will need your resume and file number.Please bring a current copy of your resume on 7/17/2017. No e-mailed, faxed or mailed documents will be accepted.
This is a paid professional learning opportunity, we do not offer childcare, so we ask that you please not bring children to the sessions.
