Struggling K-2 Readers? We Have the Answers!

Wednesday, December 11, 2019
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

This workshop will assist K -2 educators in planning a literacy program that will help all of their students become fluent readers. We will explore evidence-based strategies that support struggling readers; we will share with each other professional resources; and, finally, there will be multiple opportunities for collaboration. This workshop is designed to be helpful to all pedagogical staff who support the K-2 literacy program—i.e., classroom teachers, speech/language pathologists, SETSS teachers, and AIS/RtI providers.

Target Audience: K - 2 Grade School-Based Staff, Borough/Citywide Office Staff, Central Staff, and Superintendents

Presenter: Dr. Toni Bernard
