Michael B. Miller, DDS, FAGD, FAACD, received his DDS in 1974 from the University Maryland and a GPR certificate from the VA Hospital in Houston in 1975.  After 38 years in private practice, he joined the faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston as a clinical associate professor and director of the Center for Sports Dentistry.  Dr. Miller is a founding member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he created its highly acclaimed accreditation program.  In 1986, Dr. Miller founded Reality Publishing Company, which is one of the leading, noncommercial product evaluation testing sources in the world.  A Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and and Accredited Member and Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Miller is also a member of the International Association of Dental Research.  Besides lecturing nationally and internationally for over 30 years, Dr. Miller helped start and served on the board of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, dedicated to fostering the development of local dental health and education facilities for children who do not currently receive any type of care.
