Presenters

Matteo Chiapasco, MD, DDS graduated in Medicine and specialized in maxillofacial surgery at the University of Milan, Italy.  He is Professor and Head of the Unit of Oral Surgery at the University of Milan in Italy.  His main fields of interest are oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular focus on orthognatic surgery  and advanced preprosthetic surgery (reconstructions for severe atrophy, tumor defects, trauma sequelae, congenital malformations).


Alessandro Cucchi, DDS, Clin MSc, PhD earned his dental degree from the University of Verona in Italy and completed his post graduate degree in oral surgery at the University of Milan. He then received his PhD in surgical science from the University of Bologna, and finally he completed a continuing education course in periodontal plastic and regenerative surgical techniques at the University of Milan.


Daniel Cullum, DDS completed his dental degree with distinction at the University of Alberta, Canada and residency training at Westchester Medical Center, New York. Dr. Cullum is a Diplomate of the ABOMS and is on faculty as a Visiting Lecturer at Loma Linda University and UCLA, Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was principal contributor and lead editor of the innovative textbook “Minimally Invasive Dental Implant Surgery.”


Fouad Khoury, DMD, PhD received his dental education at the St. Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon and specialized in Oral Surgery at the Universities of Freiburg and Muenster, Germany. He was assistant Professor at the University of Muenster completing his PhD and scientific habilitation Degree. Since 1994, he is a professor at the Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery of the University of Muenster and Chairman of the Privatklinik Schloss Schellenstein, Olsberg, Germany. Since many years he is the Chairman of the examination comity for Oral Surgery and Board member of the German Society of Oral Surgery


Michael Peleg, DMD is a Professor of Surgery, Assistant Chair at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  He completed a fellowship in craniofacial traumatology and reconstruction, Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Inselspital, Switzerland, and a fellowship in tumor and reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami, School of Medicine. His research and publications in the international journals include bone reconstruction, growth factors, and sinus floor augmentation.


Hom-Lay Wang., DDS., MSD., Ph D is Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Wang serves as an Associate Editor for The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants.  Dr. Wang currently serves as a member of Scientific Oversight Committee and Continuing Education Oversight Committee for the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), JOMI Oversight Committee for the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and is a Board of Director for the AO.
