COURSE DESCRIPTION

Participants in the TRIA Hand Therapy Conference will have the opportunity to hear expert physician and therapist speakers discuss the upper extremity biomechanics of motion. Didactic education, hands-on, and interactive learning opportunities are included with valuable tools for your hand therapy practice.

 

TARGET AUDIENCE

This conference is intended for hand therapists (occupational and/or physical therapists) with intermediate to advanced experience in treating hand and upper extremity conditions.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Summarize the diagnosis and current management principles for the upper extremity biomechanics of motion.
  2. Identify the role of conservative and operative management for upper extremity biomechanics.
  3. Assess the role of evidence based rehabilitation in hand therapy.

Registration is $450 ($525 after 9/30/17)

Your registration fee includes the course syllabus, all lab fees, refreshment breaks, breakfast and lunch on Friday, and breakfast on Saturday. The social reception on Friday evening is also included with pre-registration.

ACCREDITATION

This course has been approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association for 12.5 Contact Hours/1.25 AOTA CEUs. The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA.

This course has been approved by the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy for 12.5 Category 1 continuing education credits.
