COURSE DESCRIPTION

Participants in the TRIA Sport Concussion Conference will have the opportunity to hear expert physician and therapist speakers discuss concussion and sport related concussion being a fast growing topic in sports medicine. Discussions will involve applying the current consensus and evidence based practice techniques for SRC diagnosis and management.


TARGET AUDIENCE

This conference is intended for athletic trainers, physical therapists, and primary care physicians to advance education and experience in treating concussion conditions.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Relate the most recent expert consensus and evidence based literature for the diagnosis and management of concussion

  2. Synthesize multidisciplinary approach to treatment of concussion

  3. Demonstrate hands on skills and detail tools used for diagnosis and management of concussion, using current evidence based procedures and case examples

Your registration fee includes the course syllabus, all lab fees, refreshment breaks, breakfast and lunch on Friday, and breakfast on Saturday. The social reception on Friday evening is also included with pre-registration.
