The Texas College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (TxCOEM) invites you to join us on Saturday, May 19, 2018, in San Antonio for a unique and FREE educational experience in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. This event is held in conjunction with the annual TexMed conference.

Who should attend?
Physicians, medical students, residents and health care professionals practicing in the areas of occupational and environmental medicine and those interested in learning more about occupational and environmental medicine.

ACOEM represents more than 4500 physicians and other health care professionals specializing in occupational and environmental medicine with over 200 members in the state of Texas.

Marcus Key Award
Marcus Key was the first director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, NIOSH. Dr. Key was a dermatologist, an industrial hygienist, and was widely quoted for his expertise in medicine, toxicology and occupational health policy. After resigning from NIOSH, Dr. Key began teaching at The University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, where he directed the occupational medicine program.
This award was created in Dr. Key's name and is presented each year to a person who exemplifies the ideals to which Dr. Key was devoted. If you would like to nominate someone, please email
