The Self & Match system has been used internationally to support individuals with emotional behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, as well as a variety of other diagnoses. Self & Match can be employed as a part of an individualized behavior system and/or a class-wide behavior management procedures and school-wide behavior management procedures. Self & Match has been applied in a diverse array of settings including special and general education settings, homes communities, clinics, public and private schools, and recreational programs. Katharine Croce, Ed. D., BCBA Dr. Katie Croce is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Katie received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Sant Joseph's University. Additionally, she holds a MS. Ed., in Applied Behavior Analysis, a BA in psychology, and an Autism Certificate. Katie has worked as a behavior analyst in public/private school and home settings for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Katie's expertise includes behavior management, conducting functional behavioral assessments, graphing and analyzing data, developing individualized behavior intervention plans, staff training, providing parent education, and program development and management.
Jamie Salter, Ed. S., BCBA In Collaboration with Dr. Croce, Jamie Salter, Ed. S., BCBA authored the Self & Match System; an evidence-based self-monitoring intervention that is grounded in principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Jamie currently supports teams around the globe in the development and implementation of Self & Match interventions as a Tier 1, 2 or 3 behavioral tool within the school, clinic and home settings.
Previously, Jamie served for a decade as a Senior Program Specialist at the San Diego County Office of Education. In her role, she trained educators on writing effective and legally-defensible Behavior Intervention Plans, provided leadership and guidance to special educators, consulted with teams utilizing the Self & Match system, and supported students, families, and IEP teams in determining appropriate programs for students in their least restrictive environment.
This interactive and hands-on workshop provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn a well-defined, systematic self-monitoring intervention, and motivational system. Participants in this training acquire a systematic guide to plan self-monitoring systems, as well as a Self & Match manual with substantial training materials
