At some point in your career, you will wonder how you can better help a student use their communication device. In this strand, we will explore information based on the latest AAC best practices, new (and not so new) technology, protocols for goals and next steps, wearable AAC, teaching literacy to AAC users and how to problem solve those sticky issues.
IDFPR (Continuing Education Units): Clock Hours - 10.5
PD Clock Hours (ISBE Evidence of Completion Form): PD Clock Hours - 10.5
LADSE is a Continuing Education Sponsor for Social Workers, Speech/Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.
Attendees are required to complete all components, attend the live synchronous session, and must complete a unique evaluation form that will be emailed at the conclusion of the event in order to receive clock hours and/or strand credit. |
