Screen Printmaking
An introduction to screen printing methods of printmaking using primarily water-based processes and including direct, hand-cut, digital, and photographic stencils. Assignments cover design drawing, color and printing technique. Over the course of eight weeks students will produce a finished set of three prints.

Prerequisite: this course is ideal for either true beginners, or those who have had some experience

About Len: Len is an Assistant Professor at Montserrat, where he has taught drawing and printmaking for over a decade. He also has extensive art historical knowledge in early 20th Century Soviet Art, the Modern Art Movement, and turn-of-the-century European Art. He has worked as an auctioneer at Skinner Auction House. His work has been shown throughout New England and the US, and most recently has a show opening in New York this summer. His work is in the permanent collection at the Queensborough Community College/City University of New York Art Gallery, and in various private collections. He has previous teaching experience at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
