This drawing class will use the nude figure as a basis for understanding basic drawing elements such as line, form in space, spatial relationships, light and dark, gesture, and composition. Students will also explore basic anatomy, proportion, and the relationship between the underlying structure and the surface form of the human figure. Beginners are welcome and continuing students will also be challenged.

About Brett: Brett holds an MFA from the University of New Hampshire, and a BFA from Mass Art. Brett has exhibited widely, and completed fully funded residencies at centers including the Rocky Neck Artist's Colony, Vermont Studio Center, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts amongst others.
