Classroom Rules and Behavior Expectations Self Paced/On Demand (2 hours-.2 CEU) is a IACET CEU: Credits - 0.2 learning event.
Creating rules seems easy enough, but are your rules doing enough for you? Rules should help make your job easier by telling the children the desired behaviors. Well-designed classroom rules are a critical component to any teaching toolkit and allow early educators to successfully manage their classrooms. This learning event is one of our proactive teaching strategies and developing a good set of rules will help early educators establish boundaries for the children. Participants in this learning event will be able to explain the difference between rules and expectations, select rules that are positive, clear and simple, and summarize strategies for teaching the rules to children.
Participants who complete the course length and interactive resources, videos, and questions, and pass a post knowledge assessment with a score of 90% or higher (multiple attempts allowed) will earn the CEU certificate.
