Overview and Agenda

This intense, fast paced course is designed to provide current knowledge and skills necessary for infection prevention professionals to function effectively in a variety of health care settings.


Day 2 breaks out into different sessions dependent on the type of facility.

This session is for individuals working in hospitals, ambulatory care centers and surgical centers.

An individual does not have to attend both Day 1 and Day 2 sessions. Registrations are accepted separately for each session.

The course includes lectures, discussion and educational activities as well as the opportunity to network with leading professionals in IP and other health care providers.

Requirements for Successful Completion

Attendance at entire session each day is required to obtain contact hours. Partial credit will not be provided.

Completion and submission of the evaluation form is required.

Registration is $125.00

Registration must be received seven (7) days prior to the event.

Pre-registration is required. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Course fee includes lunch, breaks and materials.

Cancelation Policy

If you are unable to attend, we would be happy to allow another individual from your facility to come in your place or you may request a transfer to the next scheduled Primary Infection Prevention Course session. A transfer is allowed only once. Please provide us with at least 5 business days notice.

To cancel we must be notified 5 business days prior to event date in order to receive a 80% refund. Refunds are not provided to individuals who do not show, do not cancel or do not attend the entire event.
