Dr. Robert Daiber, Regional Superintendent and the Mannie Jackson Center for the Humanities are co-sponsors of this Conversation Toward a Brighter Future event featuring former African American NASA astronaut Leland Melvin.

Mr. Melvin has a compelling life story. Mr. Melvin will speak on the importance of not shying away from math and science (STEM), staying focused, staying true to your dreams, and never giving up.
