'Data Analysis & Action Planning for SLP's What More Can You Do?'

Monday, January 22, 2018
The registration period has closed for this event.

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Registration open through 1/22/2018 10:59 PM EST

All participants need to bring data that is collected when using strategies (AIMSweb), Dibels, or any other data source that can be analyzed) to show growth. Participants will work in small and large groups to discuss and reflect on the data what worked well, what challenges still exist, and will develop an action plan based on that conversation. Participants will then scaffold strategies that the SLP might use to help build comprehension besides vocabulary development. Vocabulary development does not stand along on an island, rather it is a means to an end and we develop and build students' vocabulary so that they can gain meaning and comprehend text.
