Details
Breakout EDU is an immersive game based platform where small groups work to reveal clues and solve puzzles before time runs out. It brings the excitement and engagement of escape rooms to your content. Come see how to get your students collaborating, problem solving, and embracing their growth mindsets all in one lesson! Breakout EDU can fit into your curriculum as a formative or summative assessment, a hook for a unit of study, a community building activity, or as an authentic way for students to practice social skills and effective communication strategies.
This session will introduce general/special education teachers, social workers, speech pathologists and administrators to Breakout EDU and is perfect for any level of student. Participants will get the opportunity to try a sample Breakout EDU lesson as well develop an action plan for how to get started.
