Monday, January 22, 2018 8:30 AM  -11:30 AM

The registration period has closed for this event.

This workshop is for District # 118 Administrators' ONLY!
Stressed brains can't learn. As educators we must learn what trauma is and how if effects the brain in order to reach these at risk children and youth. Students are coming to our classrooms with 'invisible backpacks' full of baggage and stress. Before we can expect them to learn, we must address this baggage. Teacher strategies that work will be presented that can be taken back to be implemented into classrooms tomorrow.
