The purpose of this program is to assist you in understanding what Human Trafficking is and identifying these victims. We, as a dental community, are being called upon to assist in eradicating this devastating crime.

Janet Miller, RDH, BS
Janet graduated from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, Dental Hygiene Program, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene Promotions in 2014.
She was President and Education Chair for the Michigan Dental Hygienists’ Association. Janet sits on the Board at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and Baker College Health and Sciences received the 2014 honorary membership into the National Dental Hygiene Society Sigma Phi Alpha-Omega Chapter.
She is currently practicing clinically in dental hygiene and CPR training. Opportunities have allowed her to train, lecture and develop programs to identify and treat patients in private practice. She also successfully managed a multi state mobile dental business which focused on prevention services for underserved children and creating new job opportunities for the dental hygienist.
Her work as a dental educator and lecturer in Michigan has allowed her to speak on a variety of topics which include the relationship of oral cancer and HPV, the path and influence of salivary diagnostics in today’s dental world, the exciting future of dental hygiene and how to better serve children and elderly .
PEAK Education & Training is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from 4/1/2018-3/31/2022. Provider #209195
Cancellation/Refunds: Cancellations received less than two weeks (13 or less days) prior to the start of the course, will receive a credit voucher less a $25 admin fee valid for 1 year from the date of the cancelled course. There are no refunds or credit for cancellations on the day of the course or for no-shows.
