Your library will offer a course presented by Scholastic Test Preparation that is designed as a low-cost program. It will introduce students to the SAT test format, familiarize students with different types of questions, provide numerous tips and strategies, and supply practice test simulations. The course will include 10 hours of SAT instruction (five hours in math, five hours in verbal). Each student will receive a copy of the 2018 College Board Official SAT Study Guide. The instructors are experienced, certified public school teachers with a proven track record of engaging and motivating students. Students are asked to bring a notebook, pen or pencil, and a scientific or graphing calculator to class. The library assumes no responsibility for participants’ subsequent scores on the SAT exam. Although anyone can register for the student, the student’s CPL card must be presented at the time of the class. Limit of 30.
