This is a series of 1-hour sessions. Our ability to communicate in so many modes is unique. The text, email, twitter, face book, phone calls, memos, and face to face, etc. frequently become tangled and misunderstood!
The Lunch and Learn sessions will be a place for our voices, our ideas and our suggestions as we increase our own Oral Health Literacy in order to be better ambassadors for ULSD.
By the end of this session, all will have a better understanding of:
• The Kentucky Area Health Edcucation Center (aka AHEC) Program Components and History
•Dental Hygiene and DMD Student Extramural Clinical Rotations (aka AHECs)
•The ULSD/AHEC Kentucky Offsite Clincial Community Service Scholarship Program (aka Outreach Scholars)
•The relationship of extramurals and community engagement to accreditation (aka CODA)
