COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Lasers and Dentistry.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
This program will provide the participant with a better understanding of:
• Review a short dental histroy
• Short review of laser physics
• Cover laser tissue interaction
• What is the difference in lasers
• How do lasers work in the mouth to benefit the patient and dentist

About Douglas H. McCall, DMD

Dr. McCall is in private practice with The Dental Group with Dr. Topor and Dr. Thompson, located near Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. McCall also serves as Clinical Associate Professor in the General Dentistry Oral Medicine Department teaching in the GPR Program with the University of Louisville. Dr. McCall has taught laser certification for the graduate Pediatric, Periodontal and GPR residents for the past nine years. He has Advance Certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and has used lasers in his practice for twenty years.

Dr. McCall is past president of the Louisville Dental Society (1989) and the Kentucky Dental Association (1990), served nine years on the ADA Insurance Council, eight years as Vice Chairman and two years attached to the U.S. Coast Guard leaving as Lieutenant Commander.

We reserve the right to cancel, modify date, revise course content, revise program faculty and activities. Pre-registered participants will be notified if a course is revised or cancelled, as warranted. In the event a course is cancelled, tuition will be refunded. 

All registrations are subject to the ULSD Cancellation Policy.

This is a 'non-limited' attendance course.

ULSD must receive your written request for cancellation not later than two-weeks prior to course start date to process a refund. Course Registrants who are a 'NO-SHOW' forfeit course tuition.
