Day 1: February 24th
Day 2: April 21st
Successful completion of the LETRS-Early Childhood training online modules requires a post-test score of 80% or higher. For those teachers or administrators who would like to become facilitators of this training, a score of 90% or higher is required to access Facilitator Training. We are happy to offer a retest opportunity for persons who scored below 80%. Please contact hmeyer@crecnm.org.
There is also a possibility that a score of 80% or higher on the post-test may qualify licensed teachers to add a reading endorsement on an early childhood teaching license in the future. This will require a rule change, so may take some time. When this is accomplished, PED will provide the process to submit for the endorsement.
LETRS-EC is also approved professional development for educational assistants who hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary, early childhood, or special education. If you are an EA and you DO NOT meet this qualification, DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS TRAINING.
