Excel: Pivot Tables

This course is an introduction to Pivot Tables in Excel. Attendees will learn how to format data for a pivot table as well as how to create a pivot table.

What is the Excel PivotTable training?

This training is a very basic introduction to PivotTables and VLOOKUP functions in Excel. In addition, you will learn some tips and tricks that can save you time on the job.

• How to format data for a pivot table
• How to create a pivot table
• Additional PivotTable Features
  • Value Field setting options
  • Formatting subtotals/grand totals
  • Calculated fields
  • Filters
• How to use VLOOKUP (very basic intro)

Who should attend this training?

You should attend this training if you have never created a PivotTable or have very limited experience with PivotTables. In addition, you should have some foundational knowledge of Excel, including how to write basic formulas (such as SUM).
