Excel: Dashboards

This course covers an introduction to creating charts and using the ideas application in excel. We will then cover how to incorporate pivot tables and pivot charts into a reporting dashboard.

Basic excel formatting skills are required and an understanding of pivot tables recommended.

What is the Excel Dashboards training?

This training is an application of charts and pivot tables to create meaningful reports. We will be looking at best practices for creating dashboards as well as how to link pivot tables and pivot charts.

• How to implement Slicers
• How to format a dashboard

Who should attend this training?

You should attend this training if you are looking to summarize and report on large amounts of data. In addition, you should have some foundational knowledge of Excel, including how to write basic formulas (such as SUM) and have experience creating pivot tables.
