Kerry is an author, speaker and consultant from Fairhope, AL. Kerry started his career in physical therapy (MSPT '92) where he was director of rehabilitation for UAB Sports Medicine until 2001. From 2001 – 2005 he worked at Thomas Hospital where he managed Therapy Services and the Wellness Center. When Thomas became a part of Infirmary Health System, Kerry expanded his role to system wide therapy services, then Organizational Development and Customer Service where he served as VP for 6 years. During his time at Infirmary, Kerry and his team were recognized for creating their in-house leadership program which was featured by Emergenetics International as a Leadership Best Practice Award. Their Customer Service Program, DUO which stands for Do Unto Others, won a Bright Idea Award from VHA Southeast. His team started the inaugural iHELP Community Program where Infirmary Health system formally organized its efforts to be a community partner in the greater Mobile area. Since leaving Infirmary, Kerry started Flowers Consulting Group and wrote two books. The Soul of Business is a how to guide for creating and sustaining a high-performance culture in your business. His second book, The Go Fish Project, is a 40-day spiritual journey which encourages small groups of people to unite and impact their surrounding community. Kerry consults with individual leaders to large companies to inspire their leaders to inspire others. He believes that leadership is key to the development of culture—which in turn dictates the health of organization.
