This presentation focuses on recent OCR fines and cases, as well as guidance for items such as healthcare apps and the liability which may ensue for using a smart assistant. The attendee should walk away with an appreciation of what are the greatest areas of liability and ways to mitigate risk in light of the continually evolving regulatory and technological landscapes.
