Virginia Gleason, CPHRM, CCM, CDIP

Virginia Gleason is a committed problem-solver who has a diverse background in acute care hospital operations and regulatory compliance with 25+ years of experience in academic, acute care, county, critical access and children's hospital settings specializing in Case Management, Utilization Review, Compliance and CDI program design, implementation, regulatory guidance and education. She has a proven ability to develop and implement or reinvigorate hospital operations. Virginia joined nThrive 8 years ago following many years in private practice representing hospitals, health-systems and physician practices. Her legal practice focused exclusively on the complex area of healthcare regulations. She brought not only her legal background but her clinical and administrative experience to her professional consulting career. Her experience in healthcare ranges from bedside nursing, working as a medical practice manager and billing supervisor to the corporate practice of law. Through her broad healthcare background she has developed a professional consulting career in which she is known to provide thoughtful and successful solutions for complex operational and regulatory problems.

Additionally, Virginia is an experienced public speaker and has provided highly rated education for local, state and national organizations in a wide array of healthcare matters. She is a top-rated speaker for ACMA, AHIMA and HFMA with audiences that have included all levels of healthcare professionals from physicians and nurses to CEOs, CFOs, patient financial services and HIM staff.


John Hataway, MBA

John Hataway is the Manager of Advisory Solutions at nThrive and has over a decade of experience working with healthcare clients across the country, helping them to identify business issue root causes and develop and implement tailored solutions to drive measurable results. He uses a data-driven and value focused approach to ensure the return on time and capital meets organizational needs and provides true benefit. John has worked with healthcare providers in a variety of sizes and environmental circumstances, giving him a broad experience base to leverage when working with clients to evaluate opportunities and create solutions.


Kelly Bucci, BS, BA, RHIT

Kelly joined Ni2 in 2019 when Ni2 acquired Eris Medical Technologies. Kelly is responsible for managing Ni2 charge capture engagement client relations, the development & maintenance of charge capture platform enhancements, and the roll-out of new related service offerings to clients.

Kelly was previously a co-founder of Eris Medical Technologies in 2007, a specialized company helping hospitals & healthcare organizations optimize their charge capture activities. With Eris, her primary focus was to create new charge capture technologies which would increase client net revenues by 2% – 5% and improve the efficiencies of overall charge capture workflows by up to 50% within the client organization. For one large multi-state health system, Kelly standardized the charge capture processes across all departments & hospitals which significantly increased revenues & reduced late charges. Kelly supported many Eris clients with middle revenue cycle consulting services, including health systems, small community hospitals & specialty physician practices.

Prior to Eris, Kelly was an RCM consultant for Deloitte Consulting with a specialization in RCM operations & management, comprehensive provider charge & compliance, pricing


Jennifer Wexler, BSAS, RT(R)

Jennifer joined Ni2 in 2019 when Ni2 acquired Eris Medical Technologies. Jen is responsible for leading the continuing development of the Ni2 charge capture technology platform, is a skilled clinician and is a nationally recognized thought leader for hospital charge capture optimization, including methodologies, correct coding, claim & medical record review & related CDM management.

Jen previously was a co-founder of Eris Medical Technologies in 2007, a specialized company helping hospitals & healthcare organizations optimize their charge capture activities. With Eris, she led the design, development & maintenance of a market leading charge capture technology software platform which continues to benefit many hospitals nationally. As a charge capture expert, Jen authored several whitepapers, and has been a frequent conference speaker on charge capture related topics such as “common CDM pitfalls”, “industry-standard charge capture models” & other middle revenue cycle topics. She also served as an RCM consultant to Eris hospital charge capture software clients, increasing net revenues by 2% – 5%. Jen also managed middle revenue cycle engagements including CDM, charge capture, pricing reimbursement & clinical operational audit reviews.

Prior to Eris, Jen established Revenue Integrity departments for several hospitals and was a national consultant for Deloitte Consulting where she helped clients strategically improve revenue cycle operations & bottom line net revenue improvement.


Laurie Johnson, MS, RHIA, FAHIMA

Ms. Johnson is a Senior Consultant with Revenue Cycle Solutions, LLC and Revenue Cycle and Coding Committee Chairperson for PHIMA. She has over 35 years of experience in health information management (HIM). Her experience includes managing HIM departments as well as performing inpatient and outpatient audits, transitioning to ICD-10-CM/PCS, Recovery Audit Services, revenue cycle turnaround services, software development, and provide coding and reimbursement educational services to clients. Laurie has been a featured speaker at over forty conferences and seminars including National RAC Conference, Hospital Council of Western Pennsylvania, American Health Information Management Association, and Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association. She has a BS in Health Record Administration and MS in Healthcare Information Systems from University of Pittsburgh. She was awarded a Fellow of American Health Information Management Association in 2013.


Deanne Wilk, BSN, RN, CCDS, CCS

Deanne Wilk's experience encompasses 35 years within the healthcare field. A graduate of Drexel University she has worked in many aspects of Health Information, Coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement. Her nursing background includes Telemetry, private practice as well as Home Health nursing. Her career transitioned into from coding to nursing to education, and subsequently the Clinical Documentation Improvement field.

She has worked as a CDI specialist and transitioned into management and consulting. Currently, her role is Manager of the Clinical Documentation Improvement Program at Penn State Health as well as an Adjunct Instructor for Harrisburg Area Community College. The last several years she has worked on numerous projects to advance Clinical Documentation Improvement education, awareness and advancement. She has written numerous articles on various subjects of disease, coding, clinical documentation improvement and quality. She was also afforded the opportunity to be a subject matter expert and contributor to Clinical Documentation Improvement and coding coursework. Her speaking roles have covered both local and national engagements. She has been a key speaker for numerous organizations, including ACDIS, PHIMA and AHIMA, on the subject of Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement and Quality. She been a national consultant for many CDI organizations and continues to interact and mentor. In 2015, she initiated and now co-hosts the regional ACDIS Chapter for Central Pennsylvania. In 2016, she was nominated and resides on the ACDIS Advisory Board as well as the ACDIS Leadership Council.
