Originally from the Chicagoland area, Chewi grew up with his younger sister and a mother who loved them both unconditionally. Chewi is a giant (just shy 7’!) and is constantly on a diet. While working for a living in DSU’s Production Department, Chewi finds enjoyment being on stage as an improvisational actor. He studied at the world famous Second City in Chicago; the birthplace of improv comedy. Currently, Chewi is the owner and Managing Director of St. George’s very own, Improv Dixie. He has performed at several amazing improvisational comedy theaters, but some highlights would be Comedy Sportz: Boise, Provo, Portland and the Quad-Cities (Rock Island/Davenport), the Last Laugh Comedy Theater in Des Moines, IA, and Off the Cuff Comedy Theater in Cedar City, UT. Nothing makes him feel better than making people laugh and have a good time :)
