Overview:

In 2017, the ADA released a Proposed Policy Statement on the Role of Dentistry in Treatment of Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders. They recommended that dentists are encouraged to screen patients for SRBD as part of a comprehensive medical and dental history. Are you screening your patients for SRBD?

This program will discuss the basics of Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders and how you can start to effectively screen your patients in your practice. There will be a brief overview of treatment options.

Dr. Tucker has maintained a private practice in Erie, Pennsylvania since 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tucker has a special interest in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and has been actively treating patients in the Tri-State Erie area for the past 10 years. Dr. Tucker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
