Refunds will be issued in full if it is necessary for the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine to cancel the course.

Course Overview:

Creating great removable prostheses requires a basic understanding of making great denture impressions & obtaining the 7 must-have clinical records, regardless of the method (conventional vs digital). This presentation will introduce you to the latest advances in digitally-fabricated complete dentures & show how you can take a fresh look at Complete Dentures since dental school!

The workshop is designed to help you get started by experiencing new digital workflows to shortening the number of visits, to demystifying the digital preview, to troubleshooting at the try-in visit; taking the guesswork out of insertion and minimize post-insertion adjustments. This hands-on articulator and laptop practice even has a value-added bio-functional denture to take with you as a visual aid for your practice.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will:

• understand fabrication methods of complete, immediate, implant overdentures and digital relines;
• apply knowledge from a wide variety of clinical case presentations to incorporate immediately into your practice;
• learn the reference denture & bio-functional trial denture techniques, and
• understand the digital preview and how to move teeth virtually.

Participants must bring:

A laptop or iPad and mouse. We will be working on CAD-CAM cloud-based software during 35% of the program. No downloads will be required.

Dr. Schnell is a Clinical Professor and Director of Predoctoral Removable Prosthodontics courses at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. ?In addition to her academic role, Dr. Schnell serves on a multitude of committees and has been honored numerous times for her stellar commitment, teaching excellence, and contributions to BU. A frequent lecturer nationally and internationally on a variety of topics.? Dr. Schnell has completed over 1000 arches of digitally fabricated dentures and overdentures with her students and will share her experiences from the trenches. Dr. Schnell received her Mastership and Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Awards from the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the International and American College of Dentists, member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontists. She is an accomplished figure skater who has even competed at Adult Nationals in Lake Placid! Dr. Schnell has maintained a private practice, The Classic Smile, in Medford, Massachusetts for over 41 years.

We offer a 25% discount for registrants who register for at least 4 OFF-CAMPUS lecture courses. Please note that the software will only register this discount if all 4 course registrations are completed during the same session, prior to payment. Note that the discount will not show until the 4^th course registration is complete.

The registration form will be pre-populated with the information you previously entered.

Review and SUBMIT Registration.

Repeat the process to register for all courses you wish to take.

Once complete, click on the left button “Click Here To Check Out Now”. Enter payment information to complete your registration. You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provided
