Wisconsin PREP and PYD: we have an exciting training in store!

Social Theory 2.0 is a 2.5-day training with a half-day of core facilitator content and a two-day curriculum training on the new Making Proud Choices, Version Five. This curriculum training will give facilitators the skills and practice they need to teach any curriculum with excellence.

After this training, participants will be able to do the following:

1. Articulate the basic tenets of Social Learning Theory as a strategy for facilitating optimal youth engagement and learning in a group setting.

2. Provide an overview of the circles of sexuality, as well as identify two examples of how sex positivity can eliminate stigma and shaming.

3. Answer basic questions about reproductive and sexual health anatomy.

4. Have a template presentation for decision makers, stakeholders, and community members interested in the PREP and PYD programs.

5. Identify two to three strategies for addressing challenging situations in the classroom.

6. Demonstrate skills neccessary to effectively implement evidence-based curricula with fidelity.
