Please join Health Care Education & Training (HCET) for the Contraception and Sexually Transmitted Infection webinar on May 31, 2017. This event provides an engaging update on contraception and sexuality transmitted infections. The webinar will run from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. with time for Q & A after the presentation.
Adrienne White, NP, MSN, is a women's health nurse practitioner at University Health Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has over 19 years of experience as a clinician and preceptor in women's sexual and reproductive health.
Adrienne received her Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing from Northwestern University in Chicago and worked for many years in women's health as a labor and delivery nurse. She moved to Wisconsin in 1995 to attend graduate school and completed her Master's Degree in Nursing at UW-Madison in 1997. In 2014, she completed her Capstone in Global Health through UW-Madison's Global Health Institute.
A staunch advocate for girls' and women's empowerment and health, Adrienne combines social justice activism and local and global community service throughout her clinical practice.
Family Planning Providers, Nurse Practioners, Physician Assistants, Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) and Positive Youth Development (PYD) sites, STI Prevention, Reproductive Health Services, School and Community-based Health Educators, and Dual Protection sites.
A total of 1.25 nursing contact hours is available for this event.
