Autistic individuals often exhibit behaviors deemed to be problematic and challenging. This webinar will reframe our understanding of challenging behaviors by examining how emotional regulation abilities influence an individual’s capacity to navigate their day, particularly when difficulties are encountered. Factors influencing and means of supporting emotional regulation will be explored from a first-person autistic perspective and in terms of developmental theory.
